1. About Ceylon Gem Atelier
Ceylon Gem Atelier offers natural gemstones sourced from Sri Lanka and selected international sources. We provide information about each gemstone based on the information available to us, including details about colour, weight, measurements, treatment and certification where applicable.
2. Gemstone Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that gemstone descriptions, photographs, measurements and other product information are accurate.
Gemstones are natural materials, and their appearance may vary under different lighting conditions and on different screens. Photographs may not represent the exact appearance of a gemstone under every lighting condition.
Unless we specifically state otherwise, our gemstones are natural.
We clearly disclose known treatments and provide available information about each gemstone.
3. Gemstone Certification
Some gemstones may come with certificates from recognised gemological laboratories such as NGJA and GIC.
A laboratory certificate provides an independent assessment of the gemstone. Where a certificate is provided, customers should review the certificate details before completing their purchase.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice.
The final price for a gemstone is the price confirmed at the time of purchase.
Prices may exclude shipping charges, customs duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country unless we clearly state otherwise.
5. Orders and Payment
An order becomes confirmed after we receive and verify the required payment.
For high-value gemstones, we may request additional payment verification before accepting or shipping an order.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if we cannot verify the payment, identify a pricing error, or reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
6. Availability
Each gemstone is unique, and availability can change quickly.
We cannot guarantee that a gemstone will remain available until payment is completed and the order is confirmed.
7. Shipping
We ship gemstones using appropriate shipping and delivery services based on the destination and order.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges or other fees imposed by their country unless we specifically state otherwise.
8. Returns
Eligible gemstones may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they remain in their original condition and include all original documents.
The gemstone must not have been altered, damaged, mounted, recut, treated or otherwise modified after delivery.
Customers should contact us before returning an item and follow our return instructions.
Return shipping costs and any applicable customs or other charges may be the responsibility of the customer.

9. Private Sourcing
For gemstones sourced specifically at a customer’s request, we will confirm the gemstone, specifications, price and payment terms before proceeding.
Private-sourced gemstones may have different return conditions, which we will communicate before purchase.

All content on this website, including photographs, text, logos, graphics and other materials, belongs to Ceylon Gem Atelier or its respective owners.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
